Premium decaffeinated coffee from the Sidamo region in Ethiopia. Much like the Djimmah from last year, this coffee will make you forget that it's a decaf.
Cupping notes:
The quality in this cup starts right off the bat in the nose--honey and berries, and nothing hinting of any off notes from the decaffeination process. Clean, berry fruits dominate, with hints of bittersweet chocolate rounding out the flavor. Acidity is delicate, which complements a nicely formed body with creamy mouthfeel. Finish is creamy and sweet, with intermingled berry and chocolate hints.
