Organic, Fair Trade coffee from northern Peru. Coffee is on small farms in the Cajamarca and Amazonas regions near the Ecuador border, at elevations between 1500m and 1800m.
Cupping Notes: Clean, good drinking, full flavor profile with nuance in the fruit between fresh (slightly peachy) and dried, a nice chocolate hint, and a long lingering spicy finish. The spices in the finish sell this cup as the palate warms like from a spiced holiday beverage. Acidity and body presented a softer feel to the cup.
